Tour Overview: What better way to experience the food, sites, and life of Provence than on bicycle? Peddling down scented country lanes, you will see a part of this beautiful region that is untouched by tourism. The exercise will whet your palate and make you savor the cooking lessons that much more. Your instructor is Marc Heracle, chef and owner of the beautiful Arnajon Chateau, a 17th century bastide outside of Aix. Marc and his partner, Franck Pascal, will treat you to enchanted afternoons of cooking, preparing down-to-earth dishes you can recreate at home. Accommodations will be in Le Mas des Arnajons, a former sheepfold built in the 1600s and restored in authentic Provencal style. |
