The various programs cater to the serious photographer and naturalist as well as those who simply want to witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. All programs are all-inclusive; air transportation between either Ottawa or Winnipeg and Churchill, hotel accommodations, all meals as well as a number of Tundra Buggy excursions to see the bears. Professional photographers or naturalists escort the groups. A maximum amount of time is scheduled for optimum bear viewing. |

The beluga whales enjoy the summer months of July and August in the Churchill River where the river water is warmer than the ocean water and the whales are able to feed on crustaceans. Summer is the perfect time to visit Churchill with exciting itineraries including beluga whale watching, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, Tundra Buggy Adventures and town and area tours. As well, you'll have time to enjoy other attractions in Churchill such as the Eskimo Museum, Parks Canada facility and the town complex. Visitors can choose from a number of gift shops where souvenirs range from postcards to hand-made Inuit wall hangings and stone carvings. Our muskox photography program is designed for those adventurers who have a desire to see and photograph another exciting wildlife species! Each spring, the muskox in the Cambridge Bay area migrate, spending the summer months close to the community. We visit Cambridge Bay specifically to photograph these marvelous creatures, and at the same time, enjoy the birds and flowers of the area. This program includes a stop over in Yellowknife, the capital city of the Northwest Territory. Yellowknife is a wonderful blend of old and new; high-rise office buildings are just blocks away from the 'Old Town' that boasts remnants of days gone by. Hiking and water programs add to our short but busy stay in Yellowknife before we head back to our originating city of Edmonton, Alberta. |

The town of Igloolik is one of Canada's oldest and most traditional communities. The area is rich in wildlife, including whales, walrus and seal. During this program, we follow the old tradition of tent camping near the water's edge in hopes of spotting a magnificent bowhead or walrus. Our intent, however, is a little different than that of the original campers in this area; we have come for the sole purpose of enjoying these wonderful creatures and hopefully, to return home with a treasure of memories and frame-worthy photographs. We'll enjoy a short visit in Iqaluit, the capital city of Nunavut, before heading back to Ottawa where we began. |
